Ten days ago I received notice that I was awarded a Grant from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC)! The grant is for a project highlighting the dramatic changes in my Hell's Kitchen neighborhood that have contributed to the demise of the once-thriving Latin music record distributor business that existed here. This summer ZonaVibe with special legendary guests will present two concerts that will include historic information and photos about this vibrant bygone era of the neighborhood. Stay tuned!
Labor Day Festivals 2018

Just back from a whirlwind Labor Day weekend. Two highly successful ZonaVibe performances in Wisconsin! ZonaVibe with Chris Madsen, Ian Stewart, Mauricio Herrera and Diego Lopez performed at the Stevens Point Jazz Festival and the Fox Jazz Festival.
I sold lots of CDs!, made new friends, and got to reconnect with some old friends! A really great time was had by all! –Mike Freeman

OK, Happy New Year! 2012 had some positive things happen for "The Vibesman" and now 2013 is here!
Coming up next month Mike Freeman ZonaVibe at Long Island's Winterfest, Jazz on the Vine. We'll be performing at Wolffer Estate Saturday February 23rd, 6pm. I'd say jazz and wine go well together! –Mike Freeman

Although a Grammy nomination would have great, I'm very happy with the overall response to CD and thanks to those who supported it! I''ve spent the past couple of months writing some new music. Looking forward to locking in some work for the group and moving onto the next project!

There was a long delay (technical issues) but The Vibesman has arrived! Project backers should be seeing it soon, followed by radio programmers and press people! It's also on it's way to CD Baby (followed by iTunes and other download sites). Look for it here or there soon! –Mike Freeman
